45 Unit Scheme Approved in Epsom and Ewell

DWD have received the Decision Notice granting approval for the construction of a three to six storey building comprising 45 flats at London Road in Epsom and Ewell.

The application was originally put forward for approval at the Council’s Planning Committee in April 2021 and following the provision of additional details, and the signing of a S106 agreement, the Decision Notice granting permission has now been issued.

The application site has an extensive planning history with a number of historical refusals for alternative uses such as a drive through and a supermarket. The site is also located in close proximity to a number of Listed Buildings and a major road junction.

DWD first got involved with the site in 2019 and after a number of pre-application meetings with the Council made the formal submission for the now approved development.
