Lytag Lightweight Aggregate Manufacturing Plant, North Yorkshire

DWD acted as planning consultant on behalf of Lytag Limited, part of Aggregate Industries, to obtain full planning permission from North Yorkshire County Council for a 15m lightweight aggregate (LWA) manufacturing plant near to Drax Power Station. The facility, near to existing Pulverised Fuel Ash (PFA) deposits, processes PFA and manufactures it into a range of graded LWA and building products in a single location. The facility is built out and operational.
