Suffolk factory – Red Book Valuation

Our client, a business owner and investor, instructed DWD to provide a Red Book valuation of a silk weaving factory in Suffolk, to assist in the potential acquisition of the freehold interest.

The property is situated in a town centre environment, with a high site coverage, and significant local heritage. The previous business had, unfortunately, fallen into liquidation and our client was looking to acquire the asset and business to help preserve key local jobs. The property included a museum dedicated to silk weaving.

The DWD Valuation team inspected the property and provided a well-researched report fully compliant with the RICS Global Valuation Standards (the Red Book).
