Stockley House, London

DWD acted for a private developer in respect of appeals on Stockley House.

The scheme started, the building was stripped out and then access issues were encountered with TfL effectively ransoming the scheme. Consequently, physical work on site was halted pending resolution of access issues that would facilitate the demolition of the building and the development of a residential scheme. A sequence of Material Change appeals were lodged and after prolonged negotiations on the rateable value of the assessments were reduced to £0 with effect from the start date of the initial activity on site.
