EXPERIENCE
Tybalds Estate, Holborn
DWD has secured planning permission for Camden Council’s Development Team on a 56 unit residential scheme within the Tybalds Estate, Holborn.
The London Borough of Camden’s Planning Committee granted consent for the regeneration project, which is part of Camden’s Community Investment Programme.
The development comprises of infill development across the existing Council owned residential Estate, delivering a mix of houses and flats. The scheme will provide 28 affordable units and 28 private tenure units, as well as a replacement modern community hall, landscaping improvements across the Estate and improved accessibility to existing blocks through the introduction of ramps and a lift.
DWD worked closely with the project architects, Matthew Lloyd Architects, and engaged extensively with the planning and design officers within Camden’s planning team in advance of submitting the planning application, taking into consideration the constraints of infill development and the scheme’s viability.
