Emma qualified as a Chartered member of the Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors in 2014 and as a Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2015. Emma is a member of the Compulsory Purchase Association and a RICS Registered Valuer.

Emma specialises in advising on planning feasibility, the planning application process, development, viability, site assembly, compulsory purchase and valuation. Emma also has experience in other property areas including site disposal, business rates and landlord and tenant.

Emma advises national and individual clients in both the private and public sector. Emma advises on residential, commercial and mixed use properties and development sites, primarily in London Boroughs and the South East. Emma enjoys advising on complex projects that require a detailed understanding of planning and valuation.

Emma works on projects of various sizes, from individual properties to strategic development land, where Emma works as part of a large project team to help resolve complex planning and valuation matters to overcome development constraints.

Emma has a strong knowledge of planning policy, providing clients with planning strategy advice, feasibility and viability advice and taking applications through the planning process to secure planning consent.

Emma provides specialist valuation and strategy advice to clients on wayleaves and easements, restrictive covenants and ransom. Emma has acted for developers, including national housebuilders, on projects involving relocating overhead electricity lines, securing rights for bridges over railway lines, advising on rights of way and restrictive covenants.
