Caravane, Coal Drops Yard

Acquisition and Disposal

Following the successful acquisition of Caravane?s first UK store in 2014 on New Cavendish Street, Marylebone, DWD were instructed to secure Caravane?s second London store.

With Caravane?s preference to open a store within the new Coal Drops Yard development in Kings Cross, DWD provided advice and negotiated terms.

As Coal Drops Yard was a brand new scheme, detailed advise on lease terms was critical to limit the risk with acquiring a unit of this nature. Thorough advise was also critically important given Caravane are an international company based in France, with 12 stores across France (9), Denmark (1) and the now the 2 in the UK.

This 3,500 sq ft unit is Caravane?s largest store to date and opened on 26th October 2018.
