Minerals & Waste

We advise clients on a range of mineral and waste projects whether it is primary and secondary minerals extraction projects, waste transfer and material recovery facilities or energy from waste plants.

Property Advice

We assist clients with the acquisition of land for mineral and waste uses and are experienced at negotiating Option Agreements. By working with our planning colleagues, we help deliver the acquisition of land with implementable consent for extraction, waste transfer or material recovery facilities.

Business rates

There are a number of opportunities for minerals and waste owners to mitigate business rate liabilities. We work with clients to advise on rating and minimise their liabilities.

Planning

The team has worked closely with a number of clients within the mineral and waste sector. Our projects include primary and secondary minerals extraction projects, waste transfer and material recovery facilities and energy from waste plants. We have acted for clients and secured permission in a range of locations, including within the Green Belt and urban areas.
