Andrew Deller
Andrew joined DWD in October 2017. He is a chartered town planner with 13 years of experience as a planning practitioner in the private sector, including five years in New Zealand. His experience spans all sectors of planning and has advised housebuilders, developers, landowners, local authorities, education institutions, private companies and higher net worth individuals.
Andrew specialises in the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary project teams, and the preparation and negotiation of all types of planning applications with particular experience of securing permissions for residential and mixed-use developments. He is happy to lead or integrate with project teams.
Andrew’s approach is to combine sound land use planning evidence with good design/place-making, sustainability, and commercial/deliverability considerations as a means of informing/challenging policy and achieving value for his clients. Underpinning his approach is an appreciation of national/local political drivers and the importance of maintaining effective working relationships with planning authorities.
