Harriet Swale

Harriet is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and has over 6 years’ experience, gained in both the public and private sector. She has a range of experience working largely on major planning applications for residential, industrial and community developments. She has been instrumental in securing planning permission for a number of complex schemes on sensitive sites, including a new primary school in Lambeth, temporary events in Kensington and Chelsea, major residential developments in the South East and industrial developments across the UK.

Alongside her experience preparing and managing planning applications, she has a breadth of experience in undertaking due diligence and site appraisals in order to provide clients with robust strategy advice. She has also managed site promotions through the Local Plan process, preparing representations for private clients and neighbourhood groups, and managed a number of planning appeals including assisting senior colleagues at planning inquiries.

She has previously advised the Arora Group on planning matters for Heathrow West, a new terminal at Heathrow Airport, where she assisted with the consultation and DCO application process and is currently working on a range of industrial projects achieving planning permission for complex sites across the UK.
