The New Exploratory Park opens in Brent Cross South

DWD have been working closely with Argent Related and Barnet Council to deliver a new public park, the Exploratory Park, in Brent Cross. It represents the first completed project within the Brent cross South element of the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration area and its purpose is to provide a temporary piece of public realm for existing and future residents while nearby Claremont Park and the Clitterhouse Playing Fields are refurbished.

It is a high-quality landscaped space for the local area, hosting a suite of new trees and play equipment. The focus of the park is to provide play for all ages, with an arrangement structured around three main spaces including a paved area for events and informal games, a grassed area with picnic tables, benches, play equipment and a games court for football and basketball. The Exploratory Park was designed by East Architects and opened on Wednesday 12th August.

DWD prepared all planning inputs and managed the project through the planning application process.
